Meet the Team

Colin's teaching experience over the last 40 years has taken him from Surrey to the West Country, and from the Algarve to the sunny Florida climes.  He has the pleasure of teaching people at all levels from the absolute beginner to Tour standard Professionals.  His most satisfying coaching experience was being one of the first instructors to coach the disabled to play golf.  A lot of fun and a real honour.

For him, coaching is a partnership between coach and pupil.  Both have to listen, learn and work together if progress is to be made.

Lee joined our team in July 2020 after a long spell as Head Professional at Grim's Dyke GC in Pinner.

Lee was an amateur at Hillingdon GC and got down to a handicap of +1.5.  He then moved on to Grim's Dyke GC where he started his PGA Training which he completed and passed his PGA Training in 2003.  This was a good year for Lee as he also qualified for the final stages of the Qualifying for The Open Championships.  After a spell playing full time on various mini tours, Lee started to explore the teaching side of golf and has continued on that path.  He has now had 15 years experience teaching and is now teaching golfers from low handicaps to complete beginners.

Kenny's background is a wealth of experience in many varied roles at Heathrow Airport.  His role at Richings Park over the last 10 years has increased to cover all the 'behind the scenes' activities of a driving range.

Diz joined the team at the end of 2021 and along with Kenny Smith, keeps the Range in good order maintaining the equipment and the general upkeep of the site.

Here to help

Although Jan doesn't have a professional golfing background, she is nevertheless passionate about the game.  Which is why she's happy to support the team with whatever is needed from collecting baskets, doing a ball pick up run, marshalling the range at busy times or dealing with invoices and queries.  Jan tries to be on site a few days a week, so if you see her around, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
